I still think with the devils there are too many "what-ifs" a lot of things would have to go right (I'm not saying they won't but it will be difficult

This team definitely has a good shot at playoffs and could go far. Like others stated, some what-ifs in there. A lot hinges on Hughes/Hischier/Gusev development, Simmonds bounce-back, and goalie performances.

The players voted pk as the most over rated player in the league. If gardiner was a top 2 he would have been scooped up already. It's not the worst defence in the league but not even in top 10

As for the playoff question i think it all depends if hall stays healthy. He carried them to the playoffs two years ago and was producing really strong till his injury last season. They've only improved since then so if he can stay healthy they could grab a wild card for sure
