I'll ignore the trade.
While the first line would be dynamite, Kapanen only had ONE primary assist with Auston Friggin' Matthews last season... not good enough. And Johnsson's transition game through the neutral zone is below average for a Top 6 Forward. Matthews will still perform on that line, but Kapanen is not a good fit to play with Matthews. For that reason, you'd either need to pick up a winger who has a good transition game and playmaking ability, or just slide Nylander back there with Matthews again.
Now, if I were to talk about the trade, I'd say that's an overpay for Hyman from the TBL side, but even then, idk if I'd be trading Hyman. What he brings to the leafs might exceed his market value, or even an overpay. It's kind of like how the Flames would want a lot to get rid of Bennett... not that Hyman is better than Bennett, but the Leafs don't have many grinders on the team to get dirty pucks and provide good support along the boards and in the corners.
