Denault had more points than Laiine last year. Yea Laine outscored Denault 30 to 12. Your post would have shown better if you had Laine...signed, in a Habs post. Do Habs have cap for this Laine, not necessary this year but future years.
My own opinion is teams don't want to give up a bunch of players just to obtain a potentially high cap in Laine, who may/may not live in to his contract.

From the Jets standpoint not sure if that gets is done. Nothing against the players as I know they are good, but the Jets would definitely be looking for a top pairing winger and potentially a pick as opposed to quantity.
