Don't hate this as a Jets fan, but a year would tell a lot for all these players. Maybe in a year this gets done with a few tweaks?

Who is starting this *rumor*? Eklund? or is this a @THE_REAL_JOSH_JOHNSON special? I can tell you that since Jets proposed Laine for Dumba, which likely won't happen now that Guerin is the team's GM, they have not discussed a trade with any team. They are trying to work out some sort of bridge deal with Laine.

Svechnikov isnt better than laine come on. This is not even debatable. Svechnikov add how many goal last year?? Laine add how many at 18 years old. Jesus even with a really ****ty year lasts season he still score 30 goal

I’ll have the future perennial 45+ goal scorer who will dominate possession and will be a two way player in less than 5 years. All the reason why we aren’t trading him

Are tou listening to Yourself sometimes?
He show flashes last year but was a ghost for
Half of the game. Where not talking about a generational talent here. He will be good but laine will be better. If winnipeg could finally find a center to play with him he will do damages and the discussion we having will never occurred again.

If Svech was a ghost how did he have the same amount of 5v5 goals and points as Laine?

Svechnikov was also having 3rd line sheltered minutes, and he scored 20 goals.

Oh I know. Unlike most people on here I have seen CAR play before the playoffs started. I wanted Svechnibros to be a thing in DET so bad. I been following Andrei since he was in Muskegon.

Because laine add a very ****ty year like a said. At same age laine add twice is number. He add a down year but he will bounce back and that not even a concern. Is shooting percentage was almost 6 % down from is previous year. 6 % is around 12 goal less. And laine and ehlers who play on same line add both difficulty because winnipeg really need a 2 line centerman. Adam lowry, brian little ca feel this spot and roslovic hasn’t show up yet

Here be cautious that playing third line signify that you play against 5-6 defenseman. Like kotkaniemi in Montreal, or anthony cirelli. Both have played most time against bottom pairing so its a way to protect the kids and give them chance too have succes. At 18
Years old there not a lot of players that have dominated the league. Petterson last year was great but with 2 years older then most of the rookie its make a enormous difference. There a reason why svech was on third line and brind’amour as handles the situation very well giving him more ice time when he was on a good game but cuting him when he wasn’t that good. But clearly at the same age laine was already playing against top defender.

Look at jack hugues this year. Him pretty sure he will not have succes right away. Nhl defenders and ushl defenders are separated by miles.

Laine add 66 even strength goal last 3 year ovechkin add 79, crosby 73, kucherov 80, tavares 80, kane 83 so if he add a good center man he would be right there at the top. Ovechkin, 1/3 of is goal where powerplay goal that doesn’t mean is not a hall a famer. It don’t quite get it. Why you are delusional like
That.

I can absolutely say it and I did. You can choose to ignore all the other factors of hockey if you wish to do so.

Svechnikov MAY be better then Laine one day but not as of now. You've shown only 1 metric where you think Svech is better...sorry but that doesn't cut it. You're also comparing Laine, in his worst pro season this past year, and yet he still demolished Svech in every other metric. Compare Laine's first pro season to Svech...it's not even close there either. Case closed...only a homer would disagree with this.
