The left side of this defense isn't even AHL-worthy.

Kings won't be trading Kempe.

Why would the Kings help a division rival with their cap troubles for a 4th round pick?

Why would we exchange one young centerman and one young defenseman for another of each?

The other two trades are unobjectionable.

The Dell trade is a near exact copy of the Callahan for Condon trade except cap room is replaced by a pick. Dell is either kept as a 3G or moved down.
