Denisenko and Tippett are the most important prospects of FLA team. I don't see them being moved. Also after the Strålman acquisition, FLA doesn't need or can't afford Petry, even with that retention.

I'd say Heponiemi is their most important, then Denisenko and Tippett

Depending on where the panthers are i the standing they could be interested, stralman is getting older and playing top minute for florida might be too much. His ice time have drop from 3 minutes last two season. He look
Great most of the time because
He where playing beside hedman. In best scenario stralman would be a great 5 defender playing around 17-18 minutes. Plus they have plenty of offensive rookie. Heponiemi, noel, tippet denisenko they might use one as a chip bait for d man.

Heponiemi as tremendous hockey sense but sweet mama jesus he is reslly thin. I know nhl add change but 147 pounds is really really light, that the
Only thing with him. Guy like patrick
Kane or
Debrincat are small but still weight around 180 pound.

Yeah panthers say no. He’s one of our top 4 prospect. Its just not gonna happen for petry. If he were to be moved it would be for a top 2 dman that’s young

Top minutes are going for Ekblad and Yandle. Strålman is most likely in the 2nd pair with Matheson.

Thats my whole point if yandle is to play 25 minutes top pairing panthers are in trouble. Yandle add succes with dave tipett because imhe was using him properly on powerplay and most of the time on offensive face off. If im not mistaken he was around 60% for 40 % offensive faceoff vs defensive one. I mesn it could be someone other then petry but they need help on that blue line

They don't. Yandle had 62 points last year, he handles the slot quite well. Ekblad is the Number 1 D in there. They honestly don't need any more d-men, they already have more than enough.

I don’t now why people when they spoke about defenceman always spoke about how much point they made. That the worst possible way too compare defenseman. First he was - 17, when your a first pair dmen you should be under -10 under any circumstances even if the team suck. Plus he only add 23 point even strength and trough out is career it’s been like that he almost have score half of is point on the power play. So that is butter and bread but is not a top pairing defenseman, and if florida want to make a run into playoff they will need to adress that. Even if he play secondary minutes and qb the powerplay he will still end up with 45-55 point but he will be way more affective playing against second and third line pairing. Yandle as been one of the most productive defenseman last 10 year is 3 behind karlson and burns. That quite good but defensively its a complete contrast. I mean erik karlson look like doug harvey beside him

For offensive d-men points are meaningful. FLA is offense-oriented team who's goaltending had not lately been in the top of the league, but that has changed now with Bobrovsky.

Other than that, FLA D is pretty much set. They can't afford to acquire other pieces there. Yandle-Ekblad, Matheson-Strålman, McCoshen-Pysyk/Weegar are most likely going to be their pairs.

Yeah for the start of the year until they realized they will suck against this year since bobrovski won’t be a savior. Bobrovski is great there no doubt but florida defense isnt columbus. He will realize really soon when yandle make a dumb turnover in is on zone giving premier chance to other team. I mean i am a huge fan of the panthers and i loved watching there game because of denis Potvin describing the game but for the barkov and huberdeau mostly. And each and every night he make a costly turnover. Even matheson is not that great since everyone isnt playing a the right spot. If they want to be contenders they must find a good second defenceman. That priority because they will end like toronto making playoffs but being stuck in first round because playoff hockey is about defence.
