Provorov at 4M? Flyers have lots of good wingers, don't really need Laine.

Good grief The kid is 20! What were you doing at 20? He’s a very good hockey player.

Are you serious? Regardless of how you feel about Patrick, the deal is a joke. Provorov alone is a fair swap for Laine. D is a much more sort after position than W and Provorov looks like a really good one. The kid is only 22 and chewing through 25 mins of TOI a night, and those are the toughest minutes. I think Philly would be stupid to move Provorov for Laine. Whilst W like Laine don't come around every year, neither do D-men as good as Provorov. They're also notoriously difficult to scout and have a high chance of falling short of expectations. When you find a good D-man, you hang onto him unless. I wouldn't move Provorov unless I thought Laine was the next Ovi, Benn or Kane, which I doubt many do.

Bruins have lots of good centers, we wouldn’t really need Matthews.
