Description

Gardiner really wants to go back to the Leafs. The problem is, Toronto can’t afford him at the moment. What if Gardiner signs a one year deal here and proves himself. He can then return to Toronto after Barrie and Muzzin are off the books and the cap ceiling goes up.

When Montreal signed Chiarot that put an end to them signing Gardiner. If he wants to return to the leafs as bad as you say there is no way he signs in Montreal

I got to agree with you. And beside that, they signed Reilly to a two years contract. Maybe Bergevin was to quick in the Chariot signing but 1st of July everything goes fast. He still could trade.

I read somewhere that Habs were interested but the player was not. What would be even better if Montreal signed him then traded him to Toronto at the deadline retaining 50% so Toronto can fit him in.
