I wouldn’t say that the Mantha trade is unfair. Bellows, though flawed, has the potential to be a top 6 scorer. And Wilde, mark my godd@mn words, is a future Top 4 PP QB type defenseman.

I think the issue is that Detroit isn’t looking to move Mantha.

I like Mantha but no thanks. I'd rather not have to pay him too much when we have our cap crunch. Plus, I think we can get more for Bode Wilde.

The Kings trade I'd do in a heartbeat. Not sure why the Kings would do it though considering they're not a team that should look for Leddy. Buffalo or Winnipeg next year would be a great fit for him.

In defense of Bellows, he was told by the coaching staff to focus on his defensive game this year. Though his bad skating is a problem, I’ll give you that. I just think it’s a bit early to give up on him.
