Not saying it won't happen but "rumour" is basically a friend of a friend of girlfriend of a guy of a teacher of a kid I know at this point.

yup and other low level rumour sites pick on the rumour to get some clicks as well. I still cant believe he has a site, when he went on Sportsnet on Tradedeadline day back in 2013ish and made a complete fool of himself not getting anything near correct, how he still has a site ill never understand it

so another low level rumour site that published a story on eklunds made up rumour from 10 days ago...I dont see how that shows any credibility. The source is Eklund, so sorry this aswesome deal for the Sabres isnt happening

they said 5 player deal, so I think buff needs to add 2 more pieces, maybe another player and a prospect and the Wings a prospect.
Mantha, Bowey for Risto, Sheary and I dunno Buffalo prospects enough, but a decent guy Borgen or Luukkonen.

A framework of a deal like that maybe I can start to see how this would be a tempting move. Mantha is the best player in the deal so the value comes in with how big of an asset is that side prospect is coming back, or Mittelstadt is involved with Risto.

NHL Trade Rumors is a clickbait trash article, that does the same exact thing that Eklund does: make things up to get some clicks.
Everything that website says is trash, it has been proven lately with the Point's rumor and his contract at 8x8. Pile of trash

Last weekend when the rumor was mentioned here I tried to find anyone other than Eklund talking about it and I couldn't. With a 5 player trade its hard to keep it quite, there are just to many people involved and Eklund is the only one who knows anything? Ok?
