A package with him and Brodie probably gets a good return but just Janko probably gets at most a 2nd and a conditional 3rd

I think if there was a Frolik or Brodie trade to be made, it'd be long since done. My gut is telling me that we keep Frolik and trade Janko and waive Czarnik to save just under 3 mill

What would CGY be looking for? Cap space? (so just picks or waiver exempt players) Roster players? Dmen or Forwards?

Yeah the motive is cap space, either a couple picks or a solid but by no means high end prospect would be the ask I think

If the Jets had the space something around Appleton might work. We have a lot of centers already though.

For the Habs, if the kids (Poehling, Suzuki, Evans, etc.) show they aren't ready at camp, and someone like Thompson is just meh. I could see Habs throwing a few pick for him if he's available. a 3rd + a 4th, the 3rd being a conditional 2nd based on Jankowski's performance or games played? could end up a 2nd + 4th.

Habs seem to have a knack for picking underrated guys from CGY if you know what I mean wink

It really is crazy to me that teams wouldn't take Frolik. He is better than a lot of guys who got similar money. If Calgary is basically giving him away seems like a good deal to me
