Is Tampa going to struggle to sign Sergachev and their other RFA’s next year? Just looking at the numbers it looks like a **** show

If you’re making a post from the other team’s side, then at least consider that team’s cap situation

Are you stupid? That's with deadline cap space.. Do you even know what that is? Regarding next season and signing those RFAs, if you looked you'd see that Toffoli, Shatt, Ruuta, DSP, and Maroon will be gone plus the cap ceiling will most likely be around 83M. Which by then they would have room for Sergachev, Joseph, and Cirelli.

@Hedman77
@tsyls

It's not that much different than if they didn't make that move at all. They have moveable contracts as well if they need more room.

Hey big mouth. First you may want to state that this happens at the deadline. Second TB does not buy rentals. Third Cernak not being traded for a rental.

So we’re supposed to just assume this is at the deadline? And why on earth would we move Cernak for rentals?

And aren’t you the same guy who wants Voynov back in the league?

It's kind of obvious the title says 'serious contender' isn't that what serious contender usually do? Make deadline deals?

It's kind of obvious the title says 'serious contender' since you know everything on here I figured you'd know. Serious contenders usually make deadline moves. Usually what makes them serious contenders... Tampe is in win now mode, right? So yeah I traded Cernak for a one year 30 goal scorer on a Tampa team as well as a great two way playoff defenseman with 2 years left on his 4m contract.

And yes, you already know I'm the guy who wants Voynov back in the league.....

Yeah in what world would Tampa ever make this move, Cernak isn't being dealt for a rental period. End of story.

I mean this ACGM is trash but I don't think you can fully judge someone because of that. I wouldn't mind Voynov back in the league because I believe in second chances and I am not going to pretend like I know everything that happened.

There are plenty of players who deserve to play over a guy who beats women. Doesn’t deserve to make millions of dollars.
