An outside look of ANA line-up - am I far off

Description
Capitals is my team, but what fun is it to be interested in the league if you don't have a decent idea of your opponents?

This is my outside look for the Anaheim line-up. Is it reasonable or do you - fans of the team - see other likely line combinations or pairings at defense? Who's got that special chemistry with another players etc.

To me, Anaheim has some exciting forwards coming through. I have opted to put one of Terry, Steel and Comtois in each line, mixing youth and experience. Is that likely?

What about right-handed blueliners? Looks to me like Manson is the only one with a solid place. Holzer as the 7th guy, maybe, and Hakanpaa challenging for defensive duties on the third pairing? Which ones plays as well on the off-side?

What's the status of Patrick Eaves? After all, he has only played 16 NHL/AHL games in two seasons.

Forwards are pretty close to how I have them, defence should line up

Lindholm-Manson
Guhle/Larsson - Fowler
Del Zotto/Guhle/Larsson - Hakanpaa/Wideman/

Comtois might not make it out of camp plug Ritchie there if he doesn’t. I hope he makes it though

Overall pretty spot on ??

Thanks!
That how I saw it, with several interchangeable pieces behind the top three D-men, which you confirm. It will be a good battle in training camp.

Thanks for a valuable input!

Like they said ^ not too bad. As a ducks fan I’m hoping jones makes the team too and they just roll 4 lines similar to what you have. Jones in place of Shore and figure out how the wingers all fit around Getz, Henrique, Steel and Rowney.

As for the defence I think Ducks fans might be a little disappointed because I won’t be surprised if MDZ gets the first look with Fowler in the top 4. In my perfect world it’s either Guhle or Larsson with Fowler and the other with Hakanpää on the 3rd pair.

Could just be that I’m a ducks fan but this team is intriguing to me with all the young guys.

Line combinations could end up being anything -- one major determining factor might be how quickly Ondrej Kase returns to complete effectiveness from his injury and long layoff.

People are putting Jakob Silfverberg on LW because Anaheim is a little weak there after Rakell and, we hope, Maxime Comtois. I agree with @Jah1722 that Max Jones might make the team out of training camp.

The generally accepted wisdom is that Patrick Eaves doesn't play for Anaheim again -- too many up-and-coming forwards to find playing time for, and Eaves has spend too much time in physical rehab.

And think of next year, with Groulx, Tracey and Lundestrom in the fold and Zegras on the horizon . . .

It's not just you, because even I'm fascinated by the amount of talented forwards in the Ducks organisation. Could it be a "problem" with all forwards trying to get jobs within 1-3 years? Maybe a trade for a top 4 D-man?
