Description

Still weak down the middle. Hopefully someone steps up. I know this is bad. Just wanted to see what it looked like. Giving WPG a potential 1st/2nd pairing D, someone who can help now, and a future 1st (not lottery protected) for a streaky elite goal scorer in need of a change of scenery and cap relief for a season. I like the idea of putting Kakko and Laine on the same line. Again, I know this is bad.

Problem with Laine is that after 3 years in the NHL it’s still not clear who he is as a player...1 dimensional PP threat- or does the rest of his game show signs of developing into an all around player who isn’t so dependent on the PP for his production? Last year was not a good year to have adown year..,that said- Rangers giving an awful lot and a big commitment to a guy that’s such a big question mark...I wouldnt do it- let him sign a bridge deal w/ PEG.
