This would be a decent price for a 1-year contract. But 3? thats a steal

great contract. still an rfa when it expires and they shouldn't have any problem upping his wages with kovalchuk and carter off the books.

Great AAV for a three year term. He should progress up the lineup over the course of the contract and the Kings will probably be paying only $2M for a top 6 forward in the last year of the deal.

Even if he's still only a #3C in the third year of this deal, he's a steal at that price.

Sophomore slump last season on a terrible offensive team. I think he's a pretty solid middle 6 Forward. I'm gonna go out on a limb and call this the best signing of the day.
