at least a few of those prospects should pan out to be good players.

This is a good signing, but he's waiver eligible this year. Pretty sure he doesn't make the Hurricanes given their tremendous RHD depth, but will he clear waivers? I'd like him on the Flames as outside of Andersson our RHD prospect pool is pretty thin.

He's like TJ Brodie I think, he's a left hand shot right sided defenceman

2nd on the list is “Ceci”. End comment.

In 2 years - perhaps - maybe - if everything breaks right - then there could be a solid RD from that list. But the Leafs are supposedly contending for the cup this year. So I hear at least.

Lintuniemi can play both sides. As far as McKeown is concerned, I see him making the 23-man roster because Pesce will play his off-side and they'll IMO keep 2 extra defensemen with TVR in uncertain health.

I like this move, young player, has shown a whole lot of upside in the AHL. I like how this guy plays. He's willing to stick up for his team mates. He didn't play a lot of games in the NHL when he got his shot but he dropped the gloves after a heavy hit on one of his mates. Not that he is a great fighter, he's not, but you aren't going to just push him around on the ice he's gonna stick up for himself and others and I like that.

I think he deserves a shot at the NHL level. He's not waivers eligible if CAR doesn't put him on the roster they should have let him sign elsewhere as a professional courtesy. Because I don't think he's going to clear waivers. An NHL club is going to give this kid a chance.

Sign and trade? He carries some value at league minimum.

Absolutely! If Carolina has any interest in adding a middle 6 to top 6 guy to replace Williams, McKeown would be a good piece to dangle or can fill in on the bottom pair if they move Faulk/TVR.
