you need a player like ideally Nick Ritchie who will lead the team in hits by a healthy margin while he battles hard and create room for Smith and Shaw who is still young with upside as a middle 6 LW .


or a player like Mattieu Perrault if you're looking for Veteran Experience

the idea is to get a guy who can contribue 10-15 goals while either helping on hits , shot blocking or faceoffs giving you a 3 line with 3 faceoff capable players so they can take your bulk faceoffs 1800-2000/5000 faceoffs CHI averages .

but bringing in RNH is a high price you dont need to pay for

Sorry Stan you know I like a lot of your ideas, but this is a hard NO. Way too much to give up for so little return of one center. There are other cheaper options out there, not to mention already a part of the team.
