Absolutely could! I think Habs would benefit from having him play 25 minutes a night on the first pair in Laval, but would also be a good fit on the third pairing in Montreal

Don’t forget about cal fleury and juulsen. Juulsen is the front runner i would think, he was good last year before getting hit in the face. Juulsen might have the audition this season, and eventually the habs will see if they can traded away petry.

For nick suzuki i would like to see him on the right side of kk and domi i really think that suzuki could complete that line in a great ways. And for drouin i think that playing him on the third line would benefits him. Less pressure and playing minutes against bottom pairing defenseman. Like Pittsburgh did with kessel, and i think that drouin will get more responsibility on the PP, they work this summer on video with ducharme and im sure a lot of the work done was on PP.

This is the line-up I want to see at least for opening night. KK plays between two top 6 guys given him a higher celling. This allow Poehling to play as the 3rd center and learning NHL experience without too much pressure. Brook as a chance to crack a spot instead of Juulsen
