Come on have you watch Chicago game before saying that. Even if he fairly overpaid he still is nhl caliber defenseman. I mean he isn’t the 22 minutes top shutdown defenseman he use to be but still can gave chicago 18-19 minutes a game. Seabrook case is more that the values for is attributions aren’t right now. Not that he cannot play no more. At 2,5 millions a season he would be a good players to have. Lucic is useless even a 1 millions he can’T skate no more.

weber and it's not even close. when he retires at 35/36 and chicago gets hit with a portion of the cap recapture penalty, that totally lost money will be more valuable to the team than a dressed seabrook.

seabrook is 1.7 wins below replacement. if you could jettison him into the sun and replace him with literally any AHL call-up, chicago would win almost two more games than they did last season. he's bad.

Seabrooke add never add great advanced stats number. So this isn’t a good stats to bring in, he always plays a shutdown role so its likely that is number a negative like most shutdown defenseman. And i could said the same thing for you for the bias thing. This is bullshat. You don’t like seabrook so you bias is speaking now ??. Yes he a slowed down but he still managed to get around 30 point with a decrease ice time. With the proper use around 18 minutes a game he still can play nhl. They are worst defenceman in the league right now.
