That's too much for Lemieux, no? He has no arbitration rights, so if he wants to play this season he's going to need to take his QO. There are too many people ahead of him on the depth chart that will merit ice time. The Rangers don't lose anything letting him sit for the season if he chooses this contract to take a stand. I doubt they sign him at all if he doesn't take his QO before cutoff. ADA is another story. I'd offersheet him if I were a team in need of RHD with upside at a bargain price. He might be a man-child, but it looks like he can play hockey.
