Description

Word is three eastern conference teams are talking to the Jets about Laine. Same source that broke Panarin to NYR, Zuccarello to DAL, and Gusev to NJD. Since the source seems to focus on what New York area teams do, I think NYI and NJD are the mostly likely landing spots.

Leddy trade saves space now and for the future when they'll need to re-sign Barzal.

Martin trade gets them a bit more space for in-season moves and lets them move a somewhat difficult prospect without actually losing picks.
