Wings pass as Risto will be UFA in two years and Beruzzi will be cheaper and cost controlled for several more years and use that money on a UFA

It's funny to see Red Wings fans think that Ristolainen wouldn't help their team...he'd easily be their best defenseman, now and for several more years.

As for this trade though, no thanks on Bertuzzi, there is absolutely no way I'd put him higher in the lineup than Cozens and Olofsson.

As a Detroit fan I think Risto would make the Wings better but not so much that Detroit trades away a core player to get him.
