Yes I understand. What about Hudon for Frolik ? Give some help with the cap space for Calgary (helping them signing Tkachuk) and Frolik is an update on Hudon.

A 7th dman and a 13th forward, at least one of whom will soon be exposed to waivers, might fetch you a 5th.

I don't think a 5th is quite enough to get Frolik and Brodie.

That offer is a joke. Two healthy scratches, or at best a #6 defenseman and 4th line forward for a top pairing defender (worst case middle pairing) and middle six forward (worst case top 9F). I know the Flames need to find some cap space, but not like this.

If the Habs want Frolik, they would be better off dangling one or two of the gazillion mid round picks they have in 2020. Brodie could potentially be moved if Juulsen comes back.
