2-3 year window for this team. Thats what you get when you build a team in free agency

Kase is solid, but injury history makes a 1 for 1 more unlikely.
I'd imagine a 2nd needs to be thrown in from Anaheim.

Kase has sky-high potential if he's given more ice time and ANA needs him to be a key offensive producer. Plus he's only 23 and cost-controlled until his next RFA contract. Faulk is on an expiring deal. I'd say Kase holds a lot more value, and I doubt ANA would even consider the straight-up trade.

What have you been smoking? Canes probably need to throw in a high pick for that trade to be considered.

Ducks are rebuilding and trying to get younger, why would they move one of their younger higher ceiling offensive players, for an over paid, poor defensive style player in Faulk that has 1 year left on his contract lol

Viktor Rask got traded for Nino Niederreiter. It's why I don't attack peoples opinions on this site. Doesn't mean the facts support some of these trade values.

The fact that it's the rumor already shows that I wasn't far off in my comment.

No one knows what the trade being proposed is. I bet the canes add a pick with faulk to get kase. And that's if Faulk gets the extension he wants. You figured the ducks would trade kase and a pick for Faulk. Which is not going to happen man. There's a big difference in those 2 deals.

A high pick and Faulk for Kase is probably a realistic deal. Not Kase and a 2nd round pick for Faulk, which is what my initial comment was if you read it lol

I guess we will see in the coming weeks if a deal gets done
