Yeah the Canes are in a weird position where they're super stacked, but at the same time an absolute tire fire on the defensive side. They're whole D Core is full of top 4 defensemen but like half of them are a train-wreck in their own end.

I'd imagine Faulk, one of the tire fires, is on his way out

I’m curious where you are getting that from. Carolina had about 10-20 HDCA more than a defensively-minded team like the Isles while producing 100 more HDCF throughout the season.

I suppose compared to a team like the Blues or Boston it’s awful. Lol. Like really bad.

A few years ago at the height of there stardom the two top turnover guys in the NHL with most turnovers were Burns and Karlsson. Offensive Dmen who given the role of puck handlers will have the most turnovers.
Ain't no way Gardiner is a bad Dmen. Check his record...though maybe he shouldn't be on the PK.
