Muzzin gets no raise, if Gardiner can sign for the exact same dollar amount for another 4 years, so can Muzzin. That will give you 1.8 million to add 2 bench players.

I'd give Muzzin 4.3 million, Barrie 7.5, Dermott 3 and Marner 10.2 million. I don't think Marner is signing for less than 10 million, a deal would be finished by now if he was.

Muzzin maybe won't get 5.8, probably a bit lower, but Barrie has already said he wants 8 mil, and playing with Mattews, Tavares, Nylander, Reilly, Marner(?) he could easily earn that type of contract this season.

Think you have shown with 20 man roster and no, there is not room fro Barrie and Muzzin. Muzzin doesn't get nearly that much and Barrie, some team will probably pay more than the Leafs want/can.
