Description
MTL didn't perform that great the past few year. So the club drafter higher on the first round and had more picks. Why trading what MB has built through the draft. Keep the youth, avoid overpayment for one player and keep going with the plan. Honestly, we will need to empty the prospect pool or youth for a stud player. We saw an offer sheet this summer, but the likelihood of MTL making a second one is very low probability.

If MTL need to be out of the playoff 2019-20 so be it. Price and Weber are getting older, but the future is bright. They are on their decline and are more prone to injury. Both make good coins, but the future is more important.

MTL are stuck with Weise & Alzzzzner, buried them as no one want them. Peca and Hudon have no value at this point, waiver. MTL need to avoid the Alzzzzner contract type mistake, they should keep the problem they don't and avoid cap dump.

For MTL to be competitive in 1 or 2 years, youth need to graduate earlier than later

or some G gets injured/Lindgren gets claimed

TBL has no cap space for Petry. Would have to take back a guy like Rutta at least. And they get better but don't really need Petry since they have Sergachev, Cernak, Shattenkirk and maybe even Foote (soon) on RD.

I'd keep Petry his trade value now isn't much different than it will be at TDL ore even next season. If Habs are in a playoff run, you want him around to help in the chase.

Bolts have no cap space for that.

But i want to thank you for not trying to trade Hudon and Peca and just place them on waivers. One of the few that actually understands that they have no trade value. Kudos

Bolt are tight with their cap, I think Petry has value for the long playoff run this year and next year with 2$m retained. Any other team work also, I was just looking for a 1st round for 2020 and Tampa has two of them.
