Playing Lindholm and Ritchie over Nordstrom is dumb. Yeah, Nordstrom isn't a big name or whatever but he's the 4th best PK guy (37, 63, 52) on the team and was a key player for the B's during the Cup run. You keep him and put Lindholm, Ritchie or Backes on waivers before him lol

Doubt DET would want Moore but
Same for VAN since they both have too much D (and VAN has no cap space)

McAvoy declines. He'll be worth more than $7,5M in max two years so no way he takes that (now). And since Moore/Miller are injured/not traded yet, he'll likely get a bridge deal now.

You could get Carlo for less than that (-$1M or so)

Wagner should stay on the 4th with 20 & 52 as I said. Believe Kuhlman can stay up; let's see what Bjork can do at the training camp.

What? Nordstrom is on the 4th line; Lauko is a top9 player, at least to start.

Lauko has the skill set and style of play where he could be a valuable asset on the 4th line right now. Kind of like how Marchand broke in on the 4th line and then kept getting promoted up the depth chart. Lauko could actually help bring some offense to the 4th line, while also not compromising their defensive play.

Feel more comfortable to go with checking forwards (and we got a lots of options) than Lauko. Sure, Lauko is probably reliable defensively but give him top minutes in PRO so he can produce even more offensively and maybe become a top6 regular NHLer.

I think he could get their faster playing in the NHL.
