MIN: No way in hell are they trading Kaprizov alone.. AND 2nd round to add on top of that for 4.1M bottom-6 player.
ANA: They are better off keeping Kloos and sign someone else than trade for total bum.
EDM: Konovalov is 18yr old and one of the best goalie prospects there are and you are trading him on top of 2nd round pick for 24yr old AHL goalie..

Kaprisov is one of the best players not in the NHL. No way in hell they move him for a 3rd line player AND also throw in a 2nd themselves.

OK, we'll go with that. So Bjug isn't worth a guy they drafted 4 years ago and has shown "ZERO" signs of wanting to be there, getting a C/RW who is better than most of the ones they already have (how sad is that???) who will make them better NOW like the owner thinks they can be or possibly giving up a 2nd 2 years from now?

Still doesn't matter with no 2nd involved. They aren't moving him for a 3rd liner.

How is this mocking? I just told you that trades are bad and explained it to you? I understand everything you are trying to say.. those trades are bad.. and I pretty much explained why.

KHL rights never expire why would Minnesota trade the rights to Kaprizov for a mediocre 3C? lmao trash

Also why tf is LA giving a 2nd back lol they are the team taking on the cap space and doing Pit a favor of getting rid of JJ

Because on the MIN trade, you were wrong on the trade proposed alone. ANA, I get based on opinion but then on the EDM trade, you were once again wrong on the trade proposed. READ,READ,READ!!!

Imagine if PIT had Kaprisov. Would you trade him away for a 3rd liner? Didn't think so.

LAK's minor league is pretty barren, comparable to PIT's. This gives them more drafting/trading power and a guy in Jordy who is about ready for the NHL, good or bad. They will more than likely be flush with 1st's in the next year or two but you don't build a farm systems with 1st's alone.

If after all these years he wouldn't sign and they had an owner who allowed GM's to destroy the team but you wanted them to win now? Yeah, if I'm Billy G, I'm signing that **** yesterday.

Sorry, didn't do the KHL rights part of this. PIT will trade Alexander Pechursky's rights as a boost. I mean, he looked good in one game back in 2009.

Konovalov-

Dobber- June 2019 – This is an intriguing pick for the Oilers. With the 85th pick in the 2019 draft Edmonton opted to select Konolov, a Russian goalie who was first draft eligible in 2016 but was passed over three years in a row before being selected by Edmonton. With that all being said, the young Russian net minder was ranked fourth for European goalies by NHL Central Scouting and completely blew the doors off of the KHL as a 20 year old this past season. In 45 games with Lokomotiv last season, Konovalov recorded an impressive 1.89 GAA to go along with his 0.930 SV%. His play earned him the KHL rookie of the year award which hasn’t been won by a goalie since Andrei Vasilevsky won it in 2014. Konovalov’s numbers aren’t completely surprising considering he’s put up strong stats at every level that he’s played at but likely didn’t garner enough attention sooner due to bouncing around to different leagues the past couple seasons. At six feet tall, he doesn’t have the size that most NHL teams covet in a goalie but his performance this season undeniable. Konovalov has two years left on his current contract in the KHL. Jameson Ewasiuk

Elite Prospects has no articles about him

RotoWire- Occasionally, you will see a player who is passed over in his draft year only to be selected 12 months later. It's unheard of to see a player such as Konovalov who was passed over THREE different times. Although he is still just 20 years old, Konovalov has quickly developed into one of the best netminders in the KHL. He had a remarkable season (25-15-1, 1.89 GAA, .930 save percentage) for Yaroslavl and there is reason to expect further improvement given his age. Konovalov's future in regards to when he plans on coming over to North America is a bit murky, but adding such a young and talented goalie to their system was a great move for the Oilers.

I read those. Especially the dobber one. I work for them.

"completely blew the doors off of the KHL as a 20 year old this past season. In 45 games with Lokomotiv last season, Konovalov recorded an impressive 1.89 GAA to go along with his 0.930 SV%. He will come over.. young russian goalies like to take time in KHL before coming over. Oilers have future starter in him.

Marino needs a year in wbs. I made a post on this not long ago. The way the team talks about him and his play. He was a top defense man in NCAA. They will put him in 2nd pairing next year when Schultz leaves, I think we can see that coming at this point. JPO will be the other LHD next year too, JJ will be gone. I think that's the plan.
As far as forwards, I have been saying since mid point last year that Angelo deserves playing time. That's why I think Jugs is gone. The return, will be what it is, they can't keep the youth not playing. Blueger can play 3C, and Angelo is going to be nice on the 4th line. The way he looked in the prospect game shows why. It will be interesting what they do come training camp. He's a big dude plays physical, has some hands. It's hard not to notice. He is also a willing person to drop gloves. That helps guys like Guddy out and opens up space for the team to have a few guys willing to do what needs to be done on the ice. Guddy, Angelo, ZAR. You can count on those guys. They need that toughness on the ice. I can imagine this team in 2 years with Angelo and Niikita and Guddy on it. They will be the penguin bullies. Tough to play against that. A real shut down line on the 4th line with guys who can play defense and have the size to physically dominate you.
I think we are going to see JJ moved soon. I think Simon is out the door with him, possibly Jarry too. The cookie monster looked really good in the prospect game. It really depends what they get out of Almari and Riikola as a 1-2 year stop gap on JJ. Someone has to play LD on the 3rd pairing. One of those 2 has to shine and take it from him. If they can do that in camp, JJ is gone.

LMFAO LA's farm system blows Pittsburgh's out of the water. Hell pretty much any team in the league has a better farm system than the Pens
