Yeah, considering Nylander got $6.9mil a season, and Marner is better, $6.5mil is a joke

People now think Werenski is a comparable. He's not. Apples and oranges. $7.5 over 3 I buy.

It's the after 3 years thatbwould concern me.

Ideally I would want $9.5 -10 million over 6...... see Aho.

Nylander signed for 6 so they bought UFA years hence the 6.9, this 4 year deal walks Marner into FA so comparable contract to Mier who is literally a Marner comparable. Marner and Nylander are the same player, actually Nylander has better analytics than Marner.

The Aho contract serves as the comparable really. Albeit Aho is a centre, statiscally over 3 seasons and basic analytics show both as moving along a similar career path to date.

Been arguing this since the offer sheet, and some see it, others think I am on glue.

Point I am making is the money should be in around Aho, with terms dictating if the paycheck is north or south of Aho's AVV
