Lmao Sens were supposedly frontrunners this time yesterday. You can't believe anything you read on Twitter unless it's coming from Bob, Friedge or Dregs.

Oh I know. Kinda like this Kase for Faulk deal. Someone tweeted that CAR likes Kase and it’s now a done deal. Has to be Kase.

I kinda think it will be Kase though. He's young, but not that young, and injuries have held him back from truly having that breakout season. With other young forwards like Steel and Comtois coming through the pipeline, and other guys like Silfverberg and Rackell locked up with term, Anaheim may (wrongly) look at Kase as someone they can afford to move to address a huge hole.

We can debate the merits of whether that would be a smart move, but I can at least see how they could come to that decision.

Oh I can too. And I hate it. But just saying the person that tweeted that was mentioning he expected CAR to ask for him not that he was in the deal. As a ducks fan hopefully that’s not the deal.

I hate that you are making sense. And I hope that you are wrong. But I can't refute your arguments.

I like the Canes, so I kind of want to see Kase potentially playing with Aho. That said, this sucks super hard for Ducks fans, especially having to hear that he might be gone, but then having to wait for the trade to unfold. Like earlier this summer when Sens fans found out like three days ahead of time that we were trading for Nikita Zaitsev on July 1st. You could see the mistake coming ahead of time but couldn't do anything to stop it.
