Kuzy > Tara and seguin

Kuzy > tarasenko but isn’t better than seguin.
Last 6 season seguin as been steady like a clock. I would say that right now they are pretty even. But career overall seguin as the edge since he entered the league at 18 years old( by the way what a bad trade by the leafs)

I think Kuzy and seguin are as close to equals as you can get but Kuzy scored the most points in a single playoffs in the last 15 years. He had a down year and still was a ppg guy. You could flip a coin between them 2 but my bias opinion is Kuzy is better and that’s bc he’s shown he can reach that next level.

Also just noticed malkin was #1 ? In what universe is malkin better than Ovechkin. That is probably the dumbest thing I’ve seen. Ovechkin is a top 5 player all time please don’t disrespect him like this......

You must be a penguins fan

I agreed with you on the part that he is by far superior of malkin! But he isn’t a 5 time greatest of all time. I mean they have been
Some damn good hockey players. The top
Three are incontestably gretzky, lemieux, bobby orr but after that you got players like lidstrom, raymond bourque, sakic, yzerman, mike bossy, phil esposito, gordie howe, jaromir jagr, patrick roy, martin brodeur, mark messier, brian trottier, denis savard, gilbert dionne, jean beliveau, guy lafleur. I mean crosby is the most dominant players in our era without any doubt and I am not even sure if he is cracking the top 10. So saying ovechkin is top 5 all time is thought. He is certainly a top 20 all-time maybe by the end of is career he will climb into top 10 but for
Now he isnt there yer

If he breaks#99 goal record he’s top 5. How could you argue it? It’s all opinionated but breaking a record in an era of hockey that isn’t a joke is more impressive imo

That being said Crosby would obviously would need to be in that conversation to

And not necessarily i think that what would make him goes higher on that list would be another stanley cup. Championship are way more important than individual statistics. I mean look at jagr i mean he was a very great players but for me he wasn’t a true leader. He wasn’t able to bring Pittsburgh, or the rangers to the cup. A guys like Jonathan Toews is arguably one of the truest leader in this era of the game but he isnt on top there with stats.
Ovechkin legacy would be more impressive with another Stanley cup.

He has one and that enough. Getting another would would be impressive but toews being a good leader is cool but hawks first cup team was unreal and probably the most talented team to win a cup..... salary cap era

But your forgot that they pas troughs a stacked vancouver canucks teams. Jonathan toews was simply amazing in that serie.
Plus one cup is good but if he wants to be with all the great he need to gets a least another.
And the capitals team where stacked in talent too. Anaheim 2005 team was very impressive with maybe the best trio of defenseman in cap era.
But still ovechkin is already in my top 20 of greatest all time!!

Jagr was in is first career year he wasn’t the leader of that team. With mario lemieux 78 points in 38 games over those two years. I mean he won it but it’s isn’t is legacy. When the team was built around him late 90’s in Pittsburgh and with the rangers late 00’s he didn’t deliver.

So if McDavid plays his entire career and never wins a cup but Matthews wins one would you say Matthews is better than McDavid? People glorify cups bc it’s the easy thing to do. Justin Williams and Kunitz have the same amount of cups or more than Crosby. Doesn’t make them even creep into a conversation. The fact Ovechkin lead a team to a finals and didn’t Lebron makes him one of the greatest. Same goes with Sid. Toews teams have been irrelevant for 3-4 years
