2020 first round pick (must be a pick between 5-15 OA). So, MTL would receive the pick this year only if VAN misses the playoffs while ending up with a pick that's not a top 5 one. If they are making the playoffs (the pick then goes TB), the 2021 first becomes MTL propertie.... Is is possible to do that?

Vancouver already gave away a lottery pick for Miller, doubtful they give up another one

Vancouver will not do this. Eriksson will be moved with a prospect not a pick. Canucks gave up 2020 or 2021 first rounder to TBL

The habs cannot do this, because it makes it almost impossible to be cap compliant in 2021-22.
