Description
This is just hypothetical, I DO NOT THINK IN THE END MANY/ IF AT ALL ANY RFAS WILL BE TRADED. But for fun let’s discuss. Which RFAs do you think will be traded if any at all. Who’s first? Who would be the most likely to be moved with what we know so far?
And if so, where?

I think Laine would be the most likely to be traded. I also think point will be the first forward to sign. Just a gut feeling.

I'd say Laine.

Lemieux could be too.

Laine I think too but honestly I think Connor has a good chance of being moved. I just see him being a better sale as he’s already complete no one can say he can’t do this or that cause He plays a good rounded game so he can possibly get a more fair return because as we’ll know, we all argue on here about laines trade value; so Connor could be a more solid and defined return

Out of these options I'd say Honka is the most likely to be traded.

He’s a obvious one too, I just don’t know what he could fetch, like maybe a 2nd but even than imo not really and I could see like a 4th or 3rd from most teams but not a 2nd

As a DAL fan I'd be more than happy with a 3rd rounder.

Honka

Edit: Of the players you named he's probably the most likely to be moved.

That also could be reversed. The jets imo would rather move Laine cause he's a less complete player and he's gonna cost more than Connor. The guy is a perennial 30+ goal scorer and teams will "laine" up waiting to bid for his services ; )

hahahahah, I though I'd lighten the mood and hit you with that one. In all seriousness though I think teams would line up if Laine truly is on the market. I don't think Chevy has really put him out there yet, think negotiations are still underway. I do remember one of the insiders mentioning that TOR and WPG will not be negotiating contracts after September 13th and they will be looking for the right trade, so I expect to see Connor, Laine and Mitch signed. In reality, Connor is probably the only one out of the 3 that signs before camp starts.

I see both sides, makes sense. I heard something similar aswell. I think Connor will be yes a guy who will sign. Marner I see taking preseason time which is terrible but not great. Laine is a toss up

Laine is so hard to get a read on. One day im convinced that he's gonna hold out, then the next im like but he hasn't made his intentions clear idk. With Connor, I think at the end of the day he's actually in it for playing the game he loves. I think he knows that waiting till the last possible minute without missing camp will get him more. I feel like he'll end up being near 7x7. I see Marner 100% missing preseason at least. I could see him actually going to Switzerland and playing there for a while. I think his agent is really getting in his head.
