its funny how this team went from the oldest and slowest team to the youngest and one of the faster teams in only 2 years

What are you talking about? We were never the oldest or slowest? At no point in the last two years were we the LA Kings.

We had a blueline full of knuckle draggers, but we were never a slow team as a whole. Duchene, Hoffman, Brassard, Pageau, Dzingel were all wicked skaters, as well as Karlsson and Wideman on the back end. The neutral zone trap under Boucher slowed the pace of the game down, but that was literally the whole point of playing the trap.

i dont know i was just thinking about phaneuf but we were the oldest in 2016-17 i think

That might be true. Freddy Claesson was one of the youngest NHL regulars and he was still like 23.

Not entirely sold that Connor Brown is worth that much, but I like the direction we're going. Oodles of high-end talent that can fill out the roster when some contracts are up

I would rather have the sens draft byfield than lafrenniere. Byfeild has the higher upside and the sens don’t need more wingers and need a true 1c
