Team Explanation
IF they dont trade Vladdy or Strome, 1 of Lias or Howden is not making this team and is playing 1C in Hartford. I think it will be Lias but i hope it is Howden.

Most realistic opening night I've seen. Only thing I would switch are buch and kakko.

Call me crazy... how would you feel about Namestnikov on the top line, Zib and the breadman could help him build a solid case before the trade deadline?

You dont even need to go that far. Just put him on a 3rd line with a Krav and Lemieux as a change of pace 3rd line with some offensive upside and he will do enough to get a good return.

I think Buch and Kakko will rotate the 1RW/2RW all the way through the all star break before Kakko takes it over for good.

We've seen Namstnikov succeed with elite talent before. I think you're onto something there. Maybe the Oilers get him and put him next to McDavid and Drai.

Just a thought smile the last time he put up big numbers he was playing with Stamkos; and the Rangers bit.. hard. My logic was that he's playing with two elite guys, and someone else might bite the same way we did. Because NO ONE want's him right now, and no one wants to add that salary if he's not putting up numbers.

Also love that you have Chytil as the pivot on the second line.. I feel like it's really his job to lose 'cause Strome should not be in the middle there.
