i think bluejackets would rather have anderson and bjorkstrand over laine. could be wrong but i 100% dont see them doing this especially after panarin left last year.

Why would the Jets want a million pieces for Laine? I've said this in a few threads but all we'd want back is top 6 C, top pair RHD, 1st round draft picks. No wingers. No left handed Dmen.

You want to do Laine for Dubois?

Because when they were drafted Laine and Matthews were head and shoulders above the rest? Because in Laine's 2nd season in the NHL he put up 70 points and 40+ goals and Dubois only put up 61 points in his second NHL season? Because Dubois' Dad is a coach for the Manitoba Moose so they both might like living in the same city?

Just wondering if the Jackets would say no?

Unquestionably the Jackets would say no. PLD is a center. Laine is a winger.

Funny, doesn’t look like I said better. But no doubt a really good two way 1C is more valuable than an elite goal scoring wing

The Jackets would say no, call back, say no again, then hang up forever

So the typical we want your good guy, but asking for our similar player in return is crazy talk. I get it, you are creating another hole by moving him. I'm not sure that I wouldn't want Columbus to add so I guess we both would ultimately say no.

Actually it does. I actually wanted the jets to take Dubois at 2, but watching Laine for 3 years every game... he is special! When it inevitably all comes together for this awkward young man child we’ve been watching... look the funk out!
