Why?
Getting a 23yo great two way player... and Turris or Smith can jump top6 anytime.
Getting Reilly would be good as well for your LHD depth IMO

How is Reilly great depth? MTL has one of the weakest LD depth in the league and Reilly doesnt even make the line up, he is in all ways a dump in this trade. Lehkonen will probably never amount to anything more than a 3rd line winger, and Nashville already has more than enough 2 way players that are better. This is a strict downgrade

Reilly is better than Hamius... and In MTL we have 3 LHD that are TOO similare: Mete, Kulak, Reilly... and Julien prefer Kulak to Reilly... but they are even (as per their contract as well)
Lehkonen is younger than Sisson, Jarnk, Smith, Turris... do you prefer Armia or Ylonen?

I think Nashville should see how grandlund plays with Duchene in TC first before they consider moving him. Hes quite a good player that had a rough start when he joined them

You are right... they should wait but Montreal try to benefit of his unsuccess

hard to say. I'm not overly intouch with Nashvilles needs.

I think giving up a 24 year old 20-30 point guy, a 7/8 Dman, a 4th, and a 2nd(potentially another 2nd) for 60/70 point Center isn't super close.
I think Lehkonen has more to give personally. on most nights, he the second hardest worker behind Gallagher on the team. Tons and tons of bad luck as well. He should honestly score 20 ever season with the chances he gets.....but you can't put value on that.

I say it is close if they add a young B prospect. maybe a Teasdale or Fluery type of player. I wouldn't give much more away, if you are considering that he resigns with MTL. then that could be 2 2nd round picks, which is pretty good. I like Granlund, so i would have included both 2nds from the start and added a player probably

Thanks for your comment... by the way it was not 2x2nd but one conditional one + 3rd... but I can change it.
Granlund always played as a winger in Minny & in Nashville... with 54pts last season.
He won't play big PP minutes in Nash has they have Johansen, Duch, Forsberg, Arvidson... and Grimaldi in PP ahead of him...
When he was in Minny, he was playing big minutes with Younger Koivu & Zuck... that's when he made two great season of 69 & 67 pts.
Now he is a Great good winger with 50pts avg with last year before FA (without saying NAsh need cap release). Value= Lehko, Reilly, 2nd +Cond 2nd is very generous... If you need a B prospect, we can add Evans or Ylonen

yea i wont argue with you. I like Granlund. You seem to know alot more about him then I do. so your value may be spot on. The only concern I would have is that i thought he was a Center but I am still on board with the trade.

Simply that Minny had Staal and Koivu 1-2C from the past several years and Granlung is a fast player who benefit playing with more ice /PP.
But yes he as always marked as Center & RW... that's why MTL should have him as High-value to complete his roster.
Thanks anyway for the chat
