Make it Lauko instead of Heinen and the Kings might go for it.

Not enough for mcavoy, too much for Carlo, Heinen>Toffoli, won’t get that for Miller, John Moore is on LTIR so your roster is 2 players short, and you have Backes and Lindholm in the lineup....

Fail

You guys don't know what you're talking about. Even after a "terrible" year that has Toffoli shooting at a career low shooting % and playing mostly on a line with completely absent Jeff Carter, Toffoli scored more goals than Heinen.

Keep Heinen

Nordstrom will be LW4, Lindholm and Backes scratched (if not buried)

Sign Carlo to long-term deal and McAvoy for bridge if not both long-term. So Carlo gets around $4M and we can get McAvoy for $5-6M.

Wouldn't need Poolman back; WPG has cap issues as well

Heinen is still better, especially defensively. He is younger, cheaper and isn't UFA next year. He will probably play in top6 so expect Heinen to at least get 15-20G-25-30A.

Toffoli is an exceptional defensive player and plays significant time on the PK. You don't get to be a top-six player under Darryl Sutter if you're not.

Under a new offense-first system, I'm expecting a return to form this season and future 30g seasons again from Toffoli.

You can say that It's better to keep Heinen since he's younger and locked up longer than Toffoli, but in no world is Heinen>Toffoli.

Toffoli has averaged 45 pts per 82 career. Heinen...43.

Tofolli is a rental. Would love to add him. Would not trade Heinen straight up for him. Younger, cheaper, controlled long term. ??‍♂️

How many 20g seasons does Heinen have? 30g seasons? Now how about Toffoli?

Again, I'm not saying it's necessarily a good idea for Boston to trade Heinen for Toffoli. Heinen is younger, cheaper, and rights protected at the end of his contract. Toffoli is a UFA next summer. I just took issue with people saying that Heinen is a better player than Toffoli. He's not.

Heinen is a better defensive player and is also coming off of a bad offensive year. He had 47 points as a rookie.
