I just have a hard time believing that Rantanen will text more term and less money than Marner.

I could see it on a 5 year deal, but if he was willing to sign for $9 x 8, I feel like it would have happened long ago.

Who knows though. It'll be interesting to see what Laine, Rantanen, Connor and Point do.

I donn’t See that happening. Will probably be a shorter term. 8 years would probably be 10.5-11m.

It's just simply silly that these guys would turn down 72mil for 8 years of work.

I’ve heard that the Avs want to go long-term, but don’t want to go to $10 million. So I could probably change the term to 6 years then.

6 years at 9.5-10m sounds better. Just think that if it were as simple as 6 x 9 he would be in camp.
