I feel like Connor's best comparable I'd Ehlers. They're both very good wingers who aren't quite superstars on the same team a few years apart. Connor was a little better, particularly in the goal scoring department through his ELC. Ehlers got 6 million for 7 years or 8% of the cap for 7 years. I suggest Connor should get 10% more or 8.8% of the cap. That's about 7.17 million. Round up to a nice 7.25 for 7 years.

Laine is impossible to out a number on. He basically was a generational player for 2.33 seasons than craptacular for 0.66 seasons. He needs a short bridge to prove which player he is.

As Connor is signing for term and didn't suck for half a season we'll give him a hair more in aav give Laine 7 mil for 2 years. A bridge
