It's a 2 year deal, wouldn't exactly call this a taking a team friendly contract. Boston wins short term so Carlo wins long term.

McAvoy, Bergeron, Marchand, Pasta, etc...team friendly.

Matthews, JT, Marner, Nylander...NOT team friendly lol.

I would hope so, because that would mean he's continued to get better. It would also mean he's looking at a long-term deal and would basically be a Bruin for life. Now if we're going to talk about problems...how about having nearly half your cap space tied up in 4 players lol.

None of those contracts were team friendly (when they signed) besides Pastrnak. Toronto just overpaid because Dubas is a moron
