Reinhart has more value than Laine.

Reinhart had 65 points last season and is really good defensively.

Reinhart had a terrific season, but I think calling him more valuable is a bit of a stretch. You're comparing Reinhart to a player who's two years younger and for him 30 goals and 50 points are "bad year" lol.

This was the first year Reinhart got more than 50 points, Laine already have 2 of them.

It is a bit hyperbolic to say Reinhart is better than Laine, but to say Sam and Rasmus (much less adding a pick) for Laine is fair seems a bit of an exaggeration as well.
The offer above most likely would not get Laine to Buffalo, but I would want to fire Betterall if he gave up both Reinhart and Ristolainen for Laine.
I think that is the point that Zach was attempting to make. But let me add, Laine's out put has been up and down while Reinhart has been steadily on the rise every year. Again I do not want to presume San is equal to Patrick, but it is easier to get pts playing for the Jets than it is playing for Buffalo.
That is my 2 cents and now I am out of money.
