Problem is Laine wants $10 million and will likely want most of it in signing bonuses to protect himself just like every other young player has done and unfortunately for Canes fans the only player to actually get those bonuses is Aho because MTL forced it on them. So how they negotiate a $10 million dollar player without giving signing bonuses or trade protection would be interesting.
