Team: 2019-20 New York Islanders
Trades
NYI
  1. Tippett, Owen
  2. Pysyk, Mark
Additional Details:
From what I understand, Tippett hasn't impressed in the AHL or NHL in his short career so far. But, he's still young enough and has room to grow IMO.

Also, Dreger (?) I believe - said that FLA would still like to add a LD. If it wasn't Dreger, it was someone credible. Not pulling this out of thin air. Anyways, Leddy has history with Quenneville. Seems like a fit.

Pysyk to help balance cap. Gave JHS a change of scenery too.
FLA
  1. Leddy, Nick
  2. Ho-Sang, Joshua
NYI
  1. Hyman, Zach
Additional Details:
TOR needs to save cap space once Hyman comes back. This solves that and gives them a cost controlled, fringe top-4 RD
TOR
  1. Mayfield, Scott
Buyouts
  • Rick DiPietro: $0

I'd argue Borgstrom and Denisenko are ahead of Tippett. To each his own though.

Denisenko, Heponiemi, Knight, and maybe guys like Noel, Borgstrom, and Gildon are all > Tippett

Borgstrom isn’t even a prospect at this point. You could argue Denisenko though.

I'm definitely not trying to say Tippett is a bad prospect. I think he's got talent. Just not FLA's "top" guy in the pipeline. It's not like their getting fleeced here either. Leddy is still a puck moving top-4 LD. And JHS, while his biggest problem is not getting out of his own way, is still pretty damn talented when he actually plays NHL minutes

laugh laugh You're not getting Tippet in any return for Leddy and Ho-Sang. No way would Tallon even consider this.

Just went to your profile and saw your most recent comments. 1) You sound like you're some sort of insider. (How's Trouba doing btw?) and 2) You might be the most negative person on this entire website. Lol.
