I really can't see anyone being interested. He's declining, and he's crazy injury prone. Nobody is going to want 4 more years of that.

Crazy injury prone? Since when? The guy has only played less than 70 games 4 times. One was his rookie year, one was the lockout year, one was last year when he only played 69 (nice) games, and the other was his first year as a pen with 64 games played.

He's missed more games over the last 5 years than Bobby Ryan has.

That’s the unfortunate thing of this because I think the Penguins could get something of value out of Hornqvist on top of the cap space it would bring.

No chance the Pens get bit value and cap space in a trade of PH. They are going to have to choose one or the other.

I’d even take a player at like $4M that fits a need...whenever I say cap space I mean like a million or so freed up.

Not a lot of teams looking to take on cap for 4 years right now.

What’s your point? Bobby Ryan has only missed 4 games or less in 3 of those 5 years.

My point is that he is injury prone. He's missed more time than Ryan, it hasn't just been bad luck with hand injuries. He's had multiple concussions over that span. He's very susceptible to concussions, and that's a serious concern to a team that would be potentially interested in trading for him. Concussion problems don't go away, especially not when you're on the wrong side of 30.

So you compared him to a player that isn’t exactly injury prone? Makes sense. And it’s not like Hornqvist has missed a ton of games over the past 5 years. Not exactly what I’d call injury prone. But ?‍♂️. If we are saying injury prone cause there is a risk he could get injured, well everyone has that risk making everyone injury prone. It’s a risk you take with every player. The guy still netted 37 points while being bounced around lines last year. There really aren’t many players that work harder than him. He is a great locker room guy. Any contending team would pay for a player like him. Especially if they can give him top 6 minutes.
