Chaisson and Kassian are 10x more likely to be in the top 6 over Gagner.

Benning has looked atrocious too. I guess his "experience" will be the reason he makes the roster, but with on ties to Tippett, I wouldn't be surprised to see the oilers make a move late for a bottom pairing guy. Bouchard has looked incredible, but I think the general consensus is to let him start the season in the AHL.

Don’t disagree with what your saying. I have Gagner up with mcd and drai cause he has some familiarity with Tippett and in my opinion he’s a better pure offensive player than Chai and Kass.

With the cuts today Marody won’t be on opening day although I see him recalled soon after season starts and one of the euros go back to Europe.

Based on Tippett's latest comments, I am expecting Kassian to play on the top line, and one of the bottom two lines to consist of Khaira, Sheahan, and Chiasson. Unless the Burdasov suprises us all, it seems Jurco and Nygard are competing for a spot on the second line, so Neal is probably playing on the right wing. Jurco and Nygard could also determine what happens with Granlund. Any of those three guys may wind up playing on the bottom six "speed" line. I expect Haas has the inside track, even if Cave has performed better so far. Archibald fits the profile far better than Gagner as well.
