Description

I think the Jets gets some good value in return.

Suzuki is ready for the show. Poehling as well.

KK and Poehling will alternate C and LW position during the year.

Drouin doesn't fit in MTL, plus I feel its hard for him to be francophone and listen to the francophone media bash him. Laine won't understand. He can play on the top line like he wants.

Danault is UFA in two years... and probably won't be resigned because of the center depth. Might as well trade him now... even if it hurts the team this year.

Laine's value is at an all time low. Drouin has the same amount of point than Laine, Danault was 7th in Selkes votes for being one of the best 2way center. Byron is a PK specialist. Juulsen is a stud RHD prospect.

All those guys for almost the same cap as Laine is asking...

Danault would be your 2nd C. Juulsen is just unlucky, he'll be back shortly. Byron is not a cap dump.

Com on man, your jets might have to rebuild... they lost every dman this summer.

Yeah bud cause teams are lining up to acquire 30 year old bottom 6 wingers that make $3.4M for FOUR more seasons... Lol

There's a reason so many Habs fans want to deal Byron on this site, they know his contract is gonna be a problem as soon as next season. Jets are better off to just stick with Perreault, $700K more but two years shorter.

The Jets are still a young team and have a pretty good prospect pool, they may have to do a retool but definitely not a rebuild and this trade is in no way a rebuild trade, it's simply bad for the Jets.
