Wow that's surprising. I was expecting Bouchard to get AHL time like they said because they dont want to rush him. So, I thought the last D spot would be between Lagesson, Jones and Bear

The competition for a roster spot has always been on the right side, and the #7 spot. Tippett prefers to play a RHD on the right side, so Jones was at a competitive disadvantage from the start. On top of that, Lagesson has had a much stronger camp.

We'll see what happens with Persson. He's shown some good promise, but also struggled at times. Bouchard has been the most noticeable of the prospects, but Bear has had a strong camp too. Benning was horrible last night, and if he can't pick it up again he may lose-out to one of the younger guys. Lagesson has looked very good too, we'll see what happens when Russell returns from injury. Manning is still in Edmonton......... Logan Day is too, but only because the Oilers can't send him to Bakersfield due to injury.

Yamamoto is still rehabbing his wrist. He's not cleared to play, so he can't be sent to Bakersfied.
