I realize Nylander didn’t have alot of finish tn but but when u create that many chances you’re gonna get some decent points and the finish will get to where it used to be as his confidence does, and you put him on the 4th line after all of those chances and a beautiful assist......lol

Have to assume this is a mistake. How about mikheyev though? He is so dangerous looking. Think Dubas found some khl gold.

From what I saw of the game pretty good. Certainly looks comfortable. Same with sandin.

Gauthier and Agostino are earning their spots from seen as for right now in my books.

Liljegren average ( for NHL ) , Sandin #5 atm.

Mikheyev....sry nothing that i would notice to separate him from other pretenders for those two spots....for now...

I wasn’t overly impressed with Liljegren, certainly didn’t look bad but he didn’t bring much extra to the table like Sandin did IMO, Mikheyev tho looked great after the puck like a dog with a bone and then he gets it and immediately turns from a power forward into a flashy deking skill player, very impressive

What I want from Liljegren is great positioning and good defence. The extra stuff can be done by others. The team needs a solid defender.

That’s exactly what he was. No news is good news for a defender.

I suppose I’ve been looking for something extra because I thought he had a more offensive style than he has ended up having so far with the organization, but as jamiepo said no news is good news, and I suppose I couldn’t complain if he ends up playing like muzzin playing a solid defensive game while quietly putting up good numbers

From what i caught with emerging on Sandin they are "taming" him into shutdown D, so as Jamiepo said, the less you hear the better....

And that's what he's looked like to me. Just a steady player who defends really well. And with the way he can skate and handle the puck he'll be able to stay out of danger a lot.

Once his comfort level rises he will get a bit more creative.

Been hearing so much about how horrible scmaltz is... just don’t know why. To me I think he is the best option at rhd (with no trades being made). Let liljegren get one more year of top minutes and have him In The top 4 next year.
